The Warriors have the seventh pick of the 2012 Draft.

The draft lottery deciding whether or not the Warriors will keep their lottery pick is today.

It will be shown on ESPN at 8:00 PST.

Here are the Warriors chances to get the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or any top three pick:

3.60%
4.16%
4.90%
12.66%

Overall, the Warriors have a 72.45% chance to stay in the top 7.  The Warriors will forfeit their draft pick to the Utah Jazz if a team slotted behind them jumps into the top three. This will force the Warriors to fall into the 8th pick or worse pick (the pick is top 7 protected).

So everyone, prepare your good luck charms and brace yourselves! The Warriors will need some good luck to keep their lottery pick and hopefully, they can move into the top 3 and draft somebody like Anthony Davis or Michael Kidd-Gilchrist.

If you’re a losing team, it doesn’t matter if you have 24-karat gold seats in the new arena. The important thing is winning

- David Lee

The Golden State Warriors plan to move to San Francisco for the 2017-18 season.

The Warriors held a press conference in San Francisco earlier today to make an announcement.  With Ahmad Rashad as the emcee, Joe Lacob, Peter Guber, Jerry West, Gavin Newsom, S.F. Mayor Ed Lee, Mark Jackson, David Lee, and even David Stern present, it was bound to be big news.  The Warriors will privately fund $500 million to renovate and construct a new arena on Piers 30/32.  This move  is not guaranteed due to major problems with the piers and city regulations, but the city is leaning heavily towards approving it.  It should be approved since it has the backing of Mayor Ed Lee and will be privately funded, which means that it will not be payed with tax money.
The arena will have approximately 700+ parking spaces along with Muni, BART, and ferry access.  It will be an entertainment facility with an ability to host conventions, concerts, NCAA tournaments, and much more.  The expected timeline is for the plans to be approved in two years, the construction will take three years to be completed, and then the Warriors will move when Oracle Arena’s lease expires in 2017.
